What this site is

Champions Guides is a free, fan-made companion site for Pokemon Champions. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, Game Freak, The Pokemon Company, or any of their affiliates. Pokemon, Pokemon Champions, and all associated names, characters, and media are trademarks of their respective owners. All original guide writing, analysis, and site design on this domain belongs to Champions Guides; underlying game data (Pokemon, stats, items, moves) is sourced from public community references and belongs to its respective rights holders.

Accounts & data collection

There are no user accounts, logins, or passwords anywhere on this site. Nothing you do here — browsing guides, using the Team Builder, checking the roster — requires giving us any personal information.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics for basic, aggregated traffic numbers (which pages get visited, roughly how many people, which country). It's cookieless and doesn't track you individually across sites. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type) are generated automatically by our hosting provider for security and debugging, and aren't used for anything beyond that.

Team Builder links

Teams you build in the Team Builder are encoded directly into the page URL — nothing is saved to a server or database unless you explicitly click "Save to Community." A shareable link is just a copy of that URL; we never see or store it unless you choose to publish it.

Community-submitted content

The Community Teams board is public: anything submitted there (a team name and its Pokemon/ item/move selections) is visible to every visitor and stored indefinitely. Team names are checked by an automated filter for obvious profanity, but the filter isn't perfect and nothing else is manually reviewed before it appears. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want public.

We reserve the right to remove any community submission at our discretion, for any reason, without notice.

Game data, stats, and guide recommendations on this site are provided for informational purposes only, on an "as is" basis, with no guarantee of accuracy or that they'll keep pace with game updates or regulation changes. Always cross-check against the official game before relying on anything here for a real match.
